NEW FOR LATE 2023: "MAXILLA" the 2 track EP, recorded with our long time buddy Russ Hayes at Orange Studios, was a welcome return after Russ's health hiatus. Two songs that explore different directions but keep the SUNSPY sound as solid as a ROCK! 

"MELTDOWN"; The last chapter of the Sunspy journey released December 2022. "Guilty:,  "Saved My Life", "You'd Cry" and "If Only I Could (Make You Love Me)" are riff heavy magnificence, with a range of styles to make the Sunspy sound stand out against their peers! Thanks goes to Sam Durrant at Stiwdio Un in Bethesda for the recording support and engineering.

"CONTROLLER"; Sunspy's 4 track EP was released in January 2022. "I Am The Reason", "Wake Up (Dead)", "Trust The One" and "Own This Moment" were the songs giving a meatier and heavier direction.  Mike Pritchard (vocals and guitar), John Rogowski (drums), Tony Parisella (bass) and Tom Rogowski (guitars) like to change the vibe each time they lay down new material!

Oh yeah, we love to roll... Well done... as a listener, you've now come across Sunspy! From North Wales (UK), created and led by Mike with Tom, John and Tony, it's all about catchy, "radio friendly" rock songs. Influenced by everything from the Beatles to the hum of a hairdryer, each song has a personal link to experiences felt everyday in different ways!

It's only 3 minutes! Yes, life in music, can be summed up in about 180 seconds, accompanied by guitars and a few beers!  For us, it's about being left with a reminder to listen to thew song again or want to hear more new music. Early Sunspy music shows the rawness of the acoustic "hook" and recordings linked to very basic and early studio recording equipment. The later, more recent tracks have a bit more (spit and) polish.
